On Wednesday, Feb. 13 2019, as part of the 22nd annual D.I.C.E Awards in Las Vegas, our very own head of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross – a 25 year veteran of gaming at Microsoft, who’s presided over the launches of the original Xbox, every Halo game and every console hardware generation since – was inaugurated into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) Hall of Fame.

Aside from helping steer Xbox and Halo into the sun dappled seas of video game legend, Bonnie has tirelessly worked for her entire career to use gaming as a platform to support many causes – from Make-A-Wish and various other charities, gaming accessibility, STEM awareness amongst women and children, and multiple pushes to create greater diversity and broader talent within our industry. Bonnie is an inspiration to those who work with her, those who thrive under her mentorship and even those she competes with…pushing for collegiality and mutual success for a profession she’s helped refine and define over a quarter century of building incredible gaming experiences.
